Neste último final de semana, minha esposa participou de um evento de Crossfit. Durante a semana que antecedeu a competição, ela externou sua vontade de subir ao podium. O que ela não esperava, era conquistar o primeiro lugar. Foi uma surpresa para ela, mas não deveria.
Desde que chegamos aos Estados Unidos, a Fernanda definiu que mudaria seu ramo de atuação, trocando o jornalismo pela área esportiva, que, na realidade, foi sempre sua paixão. Nos últimos dois anos, ela se dedicou a aprender e praticar o que fosse necessário para se tornar um modelo de profissional da área.
Realizou cursos, participou de diferentes aulas em diferentes academias, buscou certificações, mudou a alimentação, investiu no seu desenvolvimento, e treinou muito. E o resultado foi que, um ano depois, ela saiu de última colocada para campeã.
Nem tudo são, ou foram flores, neste caminho. Durante este período, houve muita dúvida, falta de auto confiança, e pensamentos negativos, do tipo “por que estou fazendo isso” ou “eu nunca vou conseguir”.
Todos que desejam alcançar um objetivo audacioso passam por estes momentos. Estou certo de que todo grande esportista, empresário de sucesso, empreendedor milionário já pensaram em desistir, mesmo que digam o contrário. A diferença entre os que vencem e os que perdem é apenas a forma de agir quando a negatividade aparece.
Quando eu me deparo com estas situações, eu sempre busco fazer duas coisas: a primeira é me visualizar atingindo o objetivo. Simplesmente fecho os olhos e me imagino lá. Logo em seguida, eu avalio qual a alternativa caso eu desista, e reflito se eu aguentaria isto.
Ao juntar na mesma equação a paixão pelo que faz, a visualização da conquista e o trabalho árduo, o resultado não poderá ser outro senão aquele que você deseja. O único fator que é impossível de ser previsto é o “quando.”
Quando ele vai acontecer não está sob seu controle. Entretanto, o como sim. E ainda ninguém me provou o contrário de que acreditar no sonho e dedicar-se a ele é a melhor (ou única) forma de fazê-lo acontecer. E quando você menos espera, lá estará você.
