Enquanto eu paro na Times Square para fazer um lanche antes de seguir para o aeroporto rumo a Miami, várias lembranças dos últimos 5 anos passam pela minha cabeça.
Em 2013 eu iniciava dois processos de encerramentos de empresa que me consumiram todo meu (pequeno) patrimônio e (quase) toda minha energia. Em alguns momentos eu perdi esperança, fé, paciência. Eu estava à beira de desistir de tudo. Se não fosse o apoio de minha família e minha esposa, realmente não sei o que teria acontecido.
De lá para cá, tudo no seu tempo, as coisas mudaram. Eu persisti, lutei, conquistei. Um sonho de sair do Brasil virou realidade. Um sonho de fazer negócios pelo mundo está se tornando realidade. Hoje estou mais forte que há 5 anos, com mais conhecimento, com menos paciência para patifaria, e valorizando muito mais o meu maior ativo: tempo.
Esta a única coisa insubstituível e irrecuperável na nossa vida. Trabalhe, jogue, durma. Faça o que quiser. Utilize o tempo para curtir a vida da forma que mais lhe convenha, sem ligar para o que os outros irão dizer.
Em 2013, 5 anos parecia uma eternidade. Agora, parece que foi ontem.
