Recomeço
No dia 21 de Junho eu voltei, oficialmente, a treinar triathlon. Gravei vídeo para o canal do YouTube, comprei capacete e sapatilha nova, me inscrevi numa equipe local, coloquei metas, aquela coisa toda. Passadas 3 semanas e meia, o que mudou?
O recomeço nunca é fácil. Já falei isto aqui uma vez e não vou me repetir. Mas este está sendo particularmente difícil. Depois que parei em janeiro, eu simplesmente me larguei. Hamburger, cerveja, bolo, pão, salgadinho. Tudo o que não podia fazer, eu fazia. Para balancear, me enganava um pouco indo para academia. Mas eu sabia que não estava fazendo efeito por culpa própria.
De qualquer forma, quando eu decidi voltar, eu realmente queria voltar. Não foi apenas uma decisão por peso na consciência. Aquilo que eu havia arriscado, aconteceu. Eu parei no início do ano com a esperança de que, em algum momento, eu sentiria falta e voltaria. E foi exatamente isto que aconteceu. E isso muda toda a forma como você encara esse desafio.
Estratégia
Ao voltar, minha meta macro é a de fazer a maior quantidade de provas de Ironman no mundo possível. Para isso, eu decidi que não vou mais repetir nenhuma prova, inclusive o Ironman Brasil, em Florianópolis, minha cidade natal. Mas é lógico que eu, depois de seis meses sentado no sofá bebendo, não poderia simplesmente escolher uma prova de Full Distance para fazer agora. Então, meu primeiro Ironman deverá ser em meados de 2018. Até lá, todavia, eu pretendo fazer ao menos 2 Half Iron.
Ao discutir com meu novo treinador dos objetivos, ele sugeriu que dividíssemos esta volta em 4 etapas: na primeira, ele me passaria uma planilha para Sprint Triathlon; na segunda, aumentaria para olímpico; na sequência, evoluiríamos para uma programação de half iron; e, por fim, a planilha para o Iron completo.
Programação
A primeira etapa já acabou. Foram três semanas e fui o mais assíduo possível. Alguns treinos foram pulados, mas estou satisfeito com o resultado global.
Semana 01 – 19 à 25 de Junho

Semana 03 – 03 à 09 de Julho
Semana 04 – 10 à 16 de Julho
